Typically, I’m preparing for my first meeting at 7:30 a.m., but this morning, I delayed my walk to sit out on the balcony and take in God’s sunrise. There’s something peaceful about simply sitting in the awareness that God is in control. It’s rare that I begin a day like this—just sitting, breathing, and observing nature—but today, I was reminded of how grateful I am to have a quiet place to experience God’s presence.
