As I reflect on the sheer volume of experiences, conversations, lessons, and emotions that we carry through a day, a week, a month, or even a year—I’m struck by the miracle that we can recall any of it at all. Memory gives shape to our identity, our relationships, and even our ability to grow. But what humbles me most is recognizing that not everyone has the gift of memory intact. Some battle illnesses or circumstances that steal it away. Today, I’m pausing to thank God for the ability to remember.
