Gratitude Focus: I’m Grateful For Dreams Realized

Reflection/Why I’m Grateful:

Recently, I went to an art show by a local photographer—someone who’s been doing photography for as long as I can remember. Decades. Quietly building his craft. Always creating. Always seeing the world a little differently.

This exhibit was one of the first times he had gone back through his body of work, framed it, and offered it for sale. About a year earlier, he had reached out to me because he was buying a property. We were able to put the financing together to help make that possible.

That same property—once renovated—became the canvas for his art show.

As I walked through the space, I was struck by how beautiful it all was. The building. The photographs. The story tying it together. You could feel that this wasn’t just an exhibit—it was a dream fulfilled.

I believe he’s sold art before, but this felt different. This felt like a moment. A milestone. The kind that says, I stayed with it long enough for it to become real.

It reminded me that we all have a gift. And every gift has a monetized aspect to it—if we’re willing to listen to it, honor it, and stay faithful to it long enough.

I’m genuinely happy for him. And grateful to witness what it looks like when a dream finally finds its place in the world.
