Reflection/Why I’m Grateful:
A daily decision to trust God, even when the road ahead is unclear.
Yesterday, at a corporate faith event where I was interviewed, I received a cup with these simple but profound words:
“Faith isn’t a feeling; it’s a choice to trust God, even when the road ahead seems uncertain.”
That cup is more than a gift—it’s a reminder of the journey we’re all on. Through interviews, podcasts, and meaningful conversations, I’ve come to realize: the more I share, the more I grow. Not just personally, but relationally. Sharing creates connection—and connection invites healing.
“We walk by faith, not by sight.” – 2 Corinthians 5:7
True faith isn’t always emotionally satisfying. It’s often a quiet, unseen choice to keep moving forward, trusting in a faithful God even when we don’t feel strong.
Yesterday, a young CEO confided in me. Early in her career, someone told her to hide her struggles—to bottle them up because the world might judge her. That advice was rooted in fear.
But I offered her a different perspective. In order to heal, the wound must breathe. It must get oxygen.
That doesn’t mean being careless with our stories—discernment matters.
Not everyone is meant to carry what we’ve carried.
Just like I don’t share my vision with everyone, I also don’t share my wounds with just anyone.
But when the time is right, when the story is ready—it must be told.
“Do not throw your pearls before swine.” – Matthew 7:6
“There is a time for everything…” – Ecclesiastes 3:1
I believe God spared me so that my life could become a demonstration project.
A living testimony. A signpost. A word of encouragement to someone else who’s still in the storm.
“They triumphed… by the blood of the Lamb and the word of their testimony.” – Revelation 12:11
Your story matters too.
Even the messy, complicated, redemptive parts.
Someone needs what you’ve lived through to believe they can make it through.
I’m so thankful for those who showed up yesterday.
And I hope you won’t just read the book—but that you’ll share it, gift it, and most of all, live it.
Let your life be the light that helps someone else see their way forward.
“Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”
– Matthew 5:16
Where in your life are you being called to choose faith over feeling—and who might be waiting on your story to make their next move?
